Crew calls and call sheets

The call sheet is the document everyone reads and nobody enjoys maintaining: one time changes and the whole chain has to be told. Apploz builds it from your positions and assignments, and notifies the people concerned for you.

Positions, slots, headcount

Declare each position with its hours and the number of people expected. One position can cover several slots in a day — get-in in the morning, show in the evening — and each slot carries its own label to stay readable on the grid.

Assign anyone, account or not

People are assigned from your contact book, whether they use the platform or not. Those with an account receive their call in the app and by email; the others appear on the call sheet and can be invited to join.

Clashes caught before site

Someone expected in two places at once is flagged as you type, including across different days. Consecutive days worked are tracked, with a warning beyond the limit your organisation sets.

Frequently asked questions

What is a call sheet in Apploz?
It is the list of people called for a day, organised by position and time slot, with each person’s location and role. It is built from the assignments and exports as PDF or spreadsheet for circulation.
Are bonuses and allowances taken into account?
Yes. Your organisation defines its own options — per diem, travel, night uplift, Sunday premium — and you apply them to a position or to the whole crew. Their cost is calculated and flows into that day’s budget.
Are the people called notified automatically?
Yes, in the app and by email. Assignments made back to back are grouped into a single message rather than sent one by one, and removing an assignment is notified just as a call is.
